Chronic movement dysfunction has become a normal part of life for many people.
The prevalence of chronic pain in the US is estimated to range between 11% and 40% of adults.
Low back pain is the most common chronic pain condition.
Chronic pain costs the US up to $635 billion annually.
More than 8 in 10 patients with chronic pain are affected by severe depression.
Today, chronic pain affects more Americans than diabetes, heart disease and cancer combined.
Unfortunately, many people think “they have to just learn to live with their pain”,
“its normal”, and “there isn’t anything they can do about it anyway”…….
We have some good news for you, though.
It’s not normal.
You can do something about it.
Corrective exercise combines stretches and exercises to strengthen underactive muscles and release overactive muscles to create functional movement, stability, improve flexibility, and support pain free movement.
Each program will be specially created for each client by a Corrective Exercise Specialist focusing on the needs and goals of the client.
Our program will help you take an active role in creating pain free movement.
We believe that the only way to change dysfunctional movement patterns is to work on creating better movement patterns over time.
We will work with, support, and encourage you during the entire process, while teaching you the skills to continue to improve your functional movement.
No matter what you wish to improve – mobility, flexibility, balance, athletic performance, or picking up your grandkids – our program can help you “move better.”
